Local data-driven consultant firms (No-Where Consultants) connect to local businesses in the heartland of America.

River market.

The rumbling streetcar goes past Plexpod in the River Market.

There aren’t many voices heard these days throughout the halls of the decorated co-working space.

Larissa Uredi, CEO of No-Where Consultants, connects with a client on a virtual Zoom call at her computer.

“One of my gifts is to bring people together,” said Uredi proudly.

We are working through the pandemic with local businesses.

Despite the ongoing challenges of the pandemic, Uredi has found the opportunity to inspire innovation in entrepreneurs in Kansas City.

“Looking at it from a 50,000-foot view, Kansas City has a Silo problem,” said Uredi.

“We have a funding problem in Kansas City, and people aren’t connecting,” Uredi continued.

With No-Where Consultants, Uredi is looking to change the culture in Kansas City.

“There’s a lot of snake oil out there. Seven dollar solutions that over promise and under deliver.”

“Seven-dollar solutions burn people out,” said Uredi.

Then something even worse happens.

“They give up and walk away,” said Uredi.

With No-Where Consultants, Larissa Uredi is waging war with the idea to be able to perry problems into quick fixes.

“I am on a crusade to end them,” said Uredi.

They are celebrating milestones of innovation.

“One Million Cups (a Kauffman Foundation Initiative) started here, and now it’s everywhere,” said Uredi.

“I think that should be something that Kansas City takes just as much pride in as winning the World Series.”

A name that has been around since The 1990s.

No-Where Consultants has transformed themselves through the tech landscape and into the age of data analytics, analytics coupled with design and implementation.

Starting in 2012, No-Where Consultants began as a technical software consulting firm.

No-Where Consultants hit a dead end after building tools for a handful of initial businesses. But, like most consulting firms, there was a need for new ideas, so a transition led to Uredi’s purchase of the firm in 2015.

KCSourceLink and GotDevKC help address the Silo Problem.

“Recently, we were brought on by KCSourceLink to build the ‘GotDevKC’ project,”

The project has provided an opportunity for No-Where Consultants to create digital spaces for KC-based tech companies, emphasizing humans.

“People over raw profit,” No-Where exclaims on their website.

“Covid has allowed us to provide digital resources and spaces for more businesses.”

A digital space.

With a presence of mind.

With keen awareness, consideration, and thoughtful decision making.

As Uredi and No-Where Consultants work through the challenges of 2020 and beyond, one theme has remained consistent, connection.

“I’ve enjoyed going for walks and enjoying people’s company more the last five months than I have the last five years,” said Uredi.

Forming robust relationships is the vision for No-Where Consultants in the future.

“Breaking down those walls and getting to know people is super valuable,” said Uredi.

Now more than ever, even with the pandemic, Uredi and her colleagues at No-Where Consultants find themselves changing the industry in the City of Fountains. Uniting entrepreneurs, idea peddlers, and tremendous innovators together. With Uredi commanding her ship by using one of her most extraordinary talents;

“Bringing people together.”
